Building the software you need
When the answer is software, the same people who worked out the problem build it around how you work, on open source technology you own: business systems, connections between systems that do not talk to each other, and reports your team can run themselves.

It is a hard problem, and the usual answer is rules that slow everyone down. Small World is an established textiles manufacturer supplying major national retailers. Orders, production, stock and dispatch were held together by spreadsheets, re-keying and an ageing in-house system nobody wanted to touch.
We mapped how the business runs, built a system around those processes, and connected it to what they already use. The operations team can build their own reports and workflows without coming back to us. The system is in live trial now, and we will publish results when they are measured.
